Parking Services Supervisor

Job Responsibility:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional to join our Indigo team in Kelowna as a Parking Services Supervisor. The main accountabilities for this position include supervising and coordinating onsite staff to ensure Team work, organizational goals, standards and procedures are adhered to. Providing and improving service quality, mentoring employees, employee recruitment, training and retention.

What Would You Be Doing?

• Responsible and accountable for the operational performance of all services, to ensure they match and/or exceed targets.
• Continuously identify and implement operational best practices.
• Plan, adjust and monitor scheduling based on demand requirements to ensure efficient operational staffing levels.
• Ensure delivery of client obligations and promises including day to day service levels, customer experience and quality measures.
• Oversee customer relations management to ensure expectations are being met and identify areas for improvement
• Oversee and ensure that all cash and audit procedures are being followed
• Prepare reports, analyze and investigate any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Responsible for assisting with recruitment, training, coaching, mentoring and retention of staff
• Communicate and engage employees to ensure they understand company and client expectations on customer service, problem resolution processes, and products and services offered
• Manage labor costs based on business demands to ensure targets are achieved
• Other duties and projects as assigned by management to be completed in a timely manner

What are the Working Conditions?

• 24/7/365 operation with constantly changing demands and challenges
• Will be required to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
• Sit, stand, lift and walk for extended periods of time
• Administrative and computer work required

What Are We Looking For?

• 1-2 years of experience in a Supervisory/Team Lead capacity
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service and leadership skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook, and Chrome
• Previous customer care, tourism, hospitality and/or food & beverage experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on compassion, articulate conversation, and sincerity
• Ability to balance workload with busy and slow times
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and all other related screening processes
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean abstract

Schedule

• Wednesday to Saturday from 2:30 pm until the last flight, usually at 12:30 am (flexible based on flight delays)
