Job Responsibility:
DAY TIME COOK - Fast Food Kitchen
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Morning Cook to lead our small fast-food kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals efficiently, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and have strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items promptly and consistently according to recipes and quality standards.
- Manage food preparation during peak hours while maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Assist and support team members with any challenges in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory, request supplies as needed, and minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization, ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fast-food or quick-service environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Experience with Mexican cuisine is highly appreciated.
