Summary of position: The Receptionist is the first impression of the salon. They will be responsible for will be delivering a premium experience for guests and salon team members. As a team member, you must possess strong customer services skills, operational management, administration, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints.
- Informing nail techs and beauticians about customer appointments and requirements.
- Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries
- Processing bookings and cancellations and managing appointment schedules.
- Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional.
- Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products and services.
- Processing transactions and issuing receipts.
- Performing administrative tasks such as filing, updating records, and logging transactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience in a salon, retail, or hospitality management is an asset.
- Positive attitude with the energy to motivate others.
- Ongoing commitment to outstanding client service
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Aware of salon success metrics and how to impact them in a positive way.
- Open to taking on new challenges as they arise.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
Work Location: In person
