Customer Care/BDC Representative
Selkirk GM
Selkirk GM is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Care/BDC Representative to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for contacting customers, generating service appointments, and supporting customer retention initiatives through outbound phone calls and follow-up activities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable making a high volume of calls, enjoys building relationships with customers, and is motivated by achieving customer engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound follow-up calls to customers regarding recent service appointments, maintenance reminders, and customer retention initiatives.
Contact customers as part of manufacturer and dealership direct marketing campaigns.
Schedule and confirm service appointments while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Follow established call processes and scripts while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
Update and maintain customer records within dealership systems.
Work closely with Service Advisors and Service Management to support service department objectives.
Identify opportunities to re-engage inactive customers and encourage their return to the dealership.
Assist with customer satisfaction and retention initiatives as required.
Qualifications
Previous customer service, call centre, appointment setting, or dealership experience is considered an asset.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with customers throughout the day.
Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and experience using CRM or dealership management systems is an asset.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
