Voyago is hiring Part Time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill current open position for our Owen Sound region
Your Role
- You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
- You can provide outstanding customer service
- You have excellent communication skills
Requirements
Your Profile
You must possess the following qualifications:
- You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
- You have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
- You possess a valid G class driving license
- You can remain calm in an emergency situation
- You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
- You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
- You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) * must be valid within last 12 month.
- You can work 12hrs floating with a start time anytime between 6am and 12pm including every other weekend.
