Lead cybersecurity efforts as a Principal in Engineering at Intact under a hybrid model. Drive innovations, set strategy, and enhance security architecture within a collaborative environment. Intact is looking for a highly experienced Principal in Cybersecurity Engineering to steer complex projects and guide organizational security strategies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision, as the Principal will be central to mitigating cybersecurity risks at scale. You will define technical roadmaps, ensure secure project designs, and collaborate closely with product and tech teams to fortify defenses. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technology direction on security initiatives' architecture
- Act as a trusted advisor for complex security decisions
- Mentor engineering teams and introduce best practices
- Drive technical direction and promote collaboration across teams
- Monitor industry trends and recommend countermeasure strategies
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science or related field
- 10+ years in cybersecurity, including 3 in leadership
- Deep expertise in diverse cybersecurity domains
- Strong understanding of software architecture and cloud security
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
