Operator Assistant I - Service Operator I - Artificial Lift

Job Duties
- Under direct supervision, responsible for spooling the cable as it is pulled from the field site hole.
- Works closely with the Service Operators and Service Supervisors in the installation of the cable into the field site hole.
- Loads, performs pre-trip inspection, transports cable spool from the shop to the field site location and rig up.
- Responsible for unloading cable at the shop and reloading for next trip.
- Prepares paperwork to include DOT requirements, IFTA reports, billable and non- billable hours and mileage.
- Completes training on safety, cable shop procedures and learn about installations from field trips.
- Handles pull of cable on to the spool at the field site location.
- Develops a basic understanding of energy industry activities and artificial lift products and services at the shop and well site.
- Learns all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application.
Qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Class 5 driver's license and able to provide copy of driver's abstract is required.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
- Must be able to work an On-Call schedule.
