Expected Start Date: August 31, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Emergence Medical Services - Regina City/Town: Regina Department: Medical Communication and Coordination Centre Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends and Stats Number of Hours per Rotation: 12 hours shift Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: EMS Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Dispatch $29.021 to $35.488 Travel Required: No Job : This position reports to the Commander/Manager of Regional Communications and in his/her absence the Communications Superintendent/Deputy. The roles and responsibilities include working in concert with call-evaluators and communication deployment specialists, while working within the EMD scope of practice. This employee will provide IFT processing, emergency medical dispatching, pre-arrival instructions and deployment of emergency vehicles in emergent and non-emergent situations. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- certification as a Basic Telecommunicator with the Association of Public Safety
- Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification
- Grade 12

- Current CPR Level C
Knowledge and Abilities
- Minimum typing (keyboarding) speed of 40 wpm.
