Biomedical Engineering Technologist Ensuring Safety and Equipment Excellence

Join a mission of safety as a Biomedical Engineering Technologist, dedicated to maintaining medical equipment. Utilize your skills in a multi-site environment to improve patient care quality. This regular full-time role involves inspecting and sustaining biomedical equipment in key hospital areas including Operating Rooms and Radiology. Key responsibilities include testing new equipment, modifying existing devices for enhanced performance, and offering technical support to the users. Collaboration and effective communication are vital for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain biomedical technologies across designated areas
- Carry out critical repairs on medical equipment
- Conduct acceptance tests for newly acquired technologies
- Provide modification suggestions for improved safety
- Offer technical support to hospital staff
- Graduation from an accredited Biomedical Engineering Technology program
- Valid Class 5 vehicle license necessary
- Physical capability to perform job functions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage and organize work efficiently
