As we prepare to welcome residents to the Ng Siu Chan Centre, Yee Hong is in need of a skilled Cook II. This is your chance to make a difference by preparing quality meals and adhering to all health regulations. Your experience in institutional cooking will help you craft a menu that meets diverse dietary needs while ensuring high standards of sanitation. Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare meals according to menu plans
- Serve food in appealing, appetizing portions
- Uphold cleanliness in cooking and storage areas
- Manage food stock and ensure efficient rotation
- Follow safety regulations in food handling
- Chef Training diploma or equivalent is necessary
- Minimum 3 years of experience in institutional settings
- Food Handler Safety Certificate essential
- Knowledge of sanitation practices required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
