Job Summary
The Receiving/Inventory control lead coordinates inbound receiving and ensures inventory accuracy while maintaining optimum stock availability on the shelves. This hands-on role helps ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Team Lead works closely with operations leadership to support continuous improvement across all warehouse activities.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Receiving/Inventory Control, working alongside the team
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training for staff
- Help coordinate daily workflow, staffing coverage, and task prioritization
- Replenish shelf stock as required to maintain availability
- Maintain inventory accuracy through ongoing Cycle Counting
- Reinforce safety procedures and warehouse best practices
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Inventory, and Operations teams to resolve receiving issues
- Support carrier coordination
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the warehouse
- Identify and escalate process improvement opportunities to reduce errors, costs, and delays
- Assist leadership with peak-season readiness and workload planning
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in receiving/inventory control/warehouse operations, driving a reach truck
• Prior experience in a lead or senior associate role preferred
• Strong understanding of receiving processes and warehouse workflows
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using warehouse systems and shipping software
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift required weight and stand for extended periods
