Health And Safety Manager In Bc Burnaby

BURNCO is looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to enhance safety culture within our BC operations. This hands‑on role offers substantial autonomy without direct reports, allowing you to excel in H&S initiatives. As a tactical and operations‑focused professional with BURNCO, you’ll lead the implementation of safety procedures and engage with management to address safety challenges.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement H&S guidelines aligning with company goals
Collaborate with management on safety compliance and incident reporting
Lead safety training programs for effective engagement
Monitor and communicate compliance measures throughout the organization
Build external relationships to share best practices
Requirements 10+ years in H&S roles, preferably in construction or oil and gas
Bachelor's degree in health and safety or equivalent
NCSO designation and ACSA Auditor certification (or ability to obtain)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Robust leadership and communication skills
