The Conectado team is comprised of Asset Management Professionals with experience in Asset Management solution implementations, as well as corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and complex organizational transformation projects.

The Technical Developer determines and drives the integration architecture necessary for the team to develop and implement integrations for large complex projects. This individual must excel at working closely with teams and diverse clients on complex workstreams and project challenges. They will focus heavily on functional aspects of the technology component of implementations performing system configurations, data analysis and preparation, and requirements management. This individual should also possess a passion for technology and expect to learn how to configure package applications as well as manage data required for a system implementation. A diverse set of skills will be deployed in different types of projects ranging from small consulting engagements to large multi-year transformations.

Requirements (Requirements are subjective and candidates are encouraged to apply if they meet most of them):

• Excellent communication skills, with particular emphasis on articulating complex ideas simply
• Ability to work effectively in teams, give and receive criticism, and take ownership of team objectives
• High level of skill with large/complex data sets and ability to organize and structure data required for system implementations as well as support clients in understanding data needs and preparing data
• Learn and develop a high level of skill with package applications both for functionality as well as ability to configure the technology to meet business requirements
• Possess skills in the technical components of system implementation projects: integrations, environments, access, etc.
• Driven to ensure frameworks are built for speed, efficiency and security
• Strong research, organization, analysis, prioritization and presentation skills
• Experience working with and Developing REST, AJAX, SOAP and ION APIs
• Completed 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant area of study
• Graduate/advanced degree is a bonus
• Able to deploy structured problem-solving techniques and develop organized project plans and work packages
• High degree of analytical skills and ability to distill information into key insights and present it in a cohesive manner

Preferred:

• Certifications or additional/relevant qualifications such as IAM certifications, CNAM, PEMAC, Hexagon EAM, etc.
• Knowledge of programming language is an asset (e.g., SQL)
• Exposure to scripting languages and object orientated programming.
• General understanding and knowledge of front-end and back-end development
• Have a drive to create clean, reliable, and maintainable software
• Very Comfortable working with cloud-native stacks, interfaces and API's
• You have strong communication skills - explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you
• Knowledge of best practices in data management and security while in transit and at rest.
• Familiarity with AWS deployment, CSS, HTML and JavaScript
• Experience in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation projects
• Prior experience in managing/leading teams, including project leadership, project management, team leadership

Job Duties:

• Learn about and stay up to speed on industry practices related to infrastructure asset management, and be provide general advisory work around those areas (Asset Management Governance, Risk, Data Management, Technology, etc.)
• Provide integration and data migration skills on assigned projects.
• Analyze customers' business requirements to determine the optimal technical solutions.
• Learn about data import tools and how to load data as part of a project
• Work out detailed field mappings/transformation rules in collaboration with client and other members of the team
• Coordinate and manage all steps of the data migration process
• Support the business in all questions related to migration, analyzing, and preparing the data, extracting the data, transforming the data, validating the migrated date, and verifying data in the EAM system
• Work out data migration plan, data migration strategy, and WBS
• Follow up on progress, quality, and consistency of migration and integrations
