As an Engineer at StackAdapt, you will be directly involved in the development of our advertising platform, producing production-level code that will have a direct impact on the success of our product. You will work with large data sets and have exposure to modern tech stacks around GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL and more. Building new features in a full stack environment for our developer ecosystemContribute to technical planning and architectural decision-makingCollaborating with team members on designing complex, scalable, well tested, and well documented softwareAbility to take responsibility and ownership of projectsContribute to code reviews and cross-team collaboration with product managers and designersWrite extensible scalable and test-driven software, either in teams or individually depending on the scope of the projectWhat You’ll Bring to The Table:
2+ years as a full stack developer, involved in end to end development of customer facing featuresStrong knowledge of API design and development (GraphQL or REST) and experience with building external web components & SDKsExperience with JS frameworks (e.G. React, Redux, Typescript, Material UI) and experience with Ruby(RoR), Javascript/Typescript, or GoStrong problem solving skills in data structures, algorithms, and code optimizationExperience working with relational databases like SQL and MySQL and key-value storesThe compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in the posting country based on a global rate. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location. We do not ask candidates about current or prior salary history, and we will not use such information, if volunteered, in setting an offer. This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package. Factors Influencing Final Compensation: The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications. Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.Base Salary Band: $140,000 CAD - $192,500 CADStackAdapter's Enjoy:
