About the opportunity:
We are seeking an equipment operator to join our Parks and Solid Waste Team! In this role you will be responsible for operating and performing minor servicing on equipment primarily the tractor. As a skilled operator you will navigate equipment in areas with restricted movement and will be expected to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Additionally you will maintain records and carry out related duties as needed. This duration of this term position is unknown and based on operational needs.
About your background:
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma a valid Class 5 BC drivers license and at least one year of experience operating equipment including tractors. This role requires considerable independence a strong safety record excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
