Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for new-to-cloud public sector customers in Canada, with a focus on French-speaking organizations in Quebec and bilingual federal agencies.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on territory planning, account prioritization, and customer engagement strategies across the Canadian public sector.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions in French and English to understand customer pain points (cost optimization, compliance at scale, forced migrations, platform gaps) and recommend AWS‑based solutions.
• Design and present foundational cloud architectures aligned with customer business outcomes and Canadian public sector requirements.
• Build repeatable playbooks and enablement assets for common customer scenarios (cost optimization, compliance, legacy migration).
• Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, proof‑of‑concept engagements, and technical content (whitepapers, blog posts, reference architectures) in both official languages.
• Navigate Canadian public sector procurement and compliance frameworks, including Government of Canada cloud adoption policies.
• Contribute to the growth of the Greenfield SA organization through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and operational best‑practice development.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap for new AWS features and services.

A Day in the Life

En collaboration avec les responsables de comptes, vous développez de nouveaux comptes du secteur public, en traduisant les missions des agences en stratégies techniques permettant le déploiement des premières charges de travail sur AWS. Vos journées alternent recherche (compréhension du paysage informatique, de la conformité et des facteurs de modernisation des agences) et implication directe : animation de réunions de découverte technique, conception d’architectures, création de démonstrations de faisabilité et élaboration de feuilles de route de migration rassurantes pour les prospects. Vous accompagnez les responsables de comptes dans les cycles d’achat complexes en mettant en valeur les atouts techniques dans les réponses aux appels d’offres, et vous coordonnez les équipes de services AWS, les intégrateurs de systèmes partenaires et les spécialistes de la sécurité pour concevoir la solution optimale.

In partnership with Account Executives, you translate agency missions into technical strategies that deploy first workloads on AWS. Your days blend research (understanding an agency’s IT landscape, compliance posture, and modernization drivers) with hands‑on engagement: leading technical discovery calls, white‑boarding architectures, building proof‑of‑concept demos, and crafting migration roadmaps that give prospects confidence to move forward.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience working with Canadian public sector organizations (federal, provincial, and municipal governments, education, health, and non‑profit organizations).
• Understanding of Canadian public sector procurement and compliance frameworks (e.g., Government of Canada Cloud Adoption Strategy, CCCS Cloud Security Guidelines, PBMM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience working with Canadian public sector organizations (federal, provincial, and municipal governments, education, health, and non‑profit organizations).
• Understanding of Canadian public sector procurement and compliance frameworks (e.g., Government of Canada Cloud Adoption Strategy, CCCS Cloud Security Guidelines, PBMM).

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is between 75,600.00 and 126,200.00 CAD annually. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include other elements such as sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D), Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP), Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), paid time off, and other resources to improve health and well‑being.
