The Genesys IT Strategic Management Office (IT SMO) team helps the IT organization connect strategy to execution to enable value-based delivery. The Genesys IT Strategic Management Office (SMO) team is seeking an experienced Agile Coach with technical and business acumen, who can collaborate on the next generation of products for Genesys' internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in maturing existing agile teams (consistency and efficiencies) as well as transitioning teams from waterfall to agile ways of working (Kanban and Scrum). Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience in successfully managing multiple Scrum teams, as well as working with and training product owners and a variety of stakeholder groups. This position requires the ability to balance thought leadership, work directly with executive and VP level leadership, and convey implementation know-how and team facilitation. Further, this role includes coaching and leading the teams you work with through an Agile transformation; assisting everyone involved with understanding the core principles of Agile, adopting the Scrum, Kanban and agile scaling best practices and continuously improving the agile ways of working of the teams. What this role isn't: This isn't a role where you should wait for instructions. You will need to jump in and quickly make actionable, and measurable contributions. This role also isn't just about planning, training and coaching. You will need to support multiple teams that are experienced in agile and need to scale processes and consistency to work more effectively together. You will also support teams that are new to agile as they transition to agile ways of working, support a matrix reporting relationship with Vice Presidents across IT, and pivot if needed while staying aligned to the overall IT Agile transformation strategy. What you'll bring to the table: You will be pivotal in guiding our diverse IT teams, developing Salesforce, Workday, ERP, NetSuite and other package solutions. These teams will be in the Go To Customer (Lead to Cash and Record to Report) business solutions teams working closely with Data and Analytics teams. Your deep expertise will help these teams adopt and improve consistency and delivery of agile practices, ensuring efficient delivery of large and complex technology products. You will also be able to establish and use metrics to drive efficiency and standardization across the teams. Some details about what you'll do:

• • Mentor and support established Agile teams, utilizing advanced understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.
  • Assess current team practices and maturity levels using metrics and performance measures, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs to support Agile roles and responsibilities across the organization.
  • Engage with VP and C-suite executives to foster an understanding and enthusiasm for Agile methodologies; demonstrate the business value of Agile through relevant metrics.
  • Facilitate the alignment of Agile practices across multiple teams and departments to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
  • Guide teams in refining their processes and practices, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by integrating the latest Agile tools and best practices into team workflows.
  • Provide strategic leadership in scaling Agile practices through frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or DaD.
  • Resolve impediments and streamline workflows to enhance team performance and delivery capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver training to teams and key agile roles within the teams helping them adopt agile ways of working.
  • Work closely with the teams to enhance the Jira tool settings (project, workflow, issue schemes, permissions) to track the teams work
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and regular feedback loops to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks to enhance team dynamics and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT Agile transformation lead and other agile coaches to align agile practices with the IT Agile transformation strategy.
  • Present and align with the senior leadership on a coaching plan to support their org, and track progress through metrics and share the same with them.
  • Stay updated with Agile trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve your coaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders as needed, to bring them on the agile journey along with the teams.
  • Experience leading and providing necessary training and guidance to the IT Agile champions network.
  • Experience setting up and championing Communities of Practices (CoPs).
  • Ability to assess key Agile roles for required competencies and skills and provide coaching guidance and training to support their role maturity.
  • Work closely with Change Management team to align Agile Transformation strategy to Change Management strategy.
  Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience with Atlassian products, especially JIRA and Confluence and creating JIRA Scrum boards and dashboards required.
  • Experience with Atlassian Compass, and rich filters plug in a huge plus!
  • Experience working with IT Teams developing Salesforce, Workday, ERP, NetSuite and other package solutions is highly preferred.
  • Experience coaching teams through continuous improvement using DevOps metrics a huge plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow tool and Smartsheet is highly preferred.
  • Established success in areas of impact for influence, cross group collaboration, and focus on positive outcomes.
  • Expertise in building high-performing teams and coaching teams through the complexities of a Agile implementation.

  Desired Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in related degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years' experience in delivering Agile software solutions as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner or equivalent, leading 3-5 teams in IT industry.
  • KMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe SSM or equivalent preferred
