Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained according to brand standards

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols

• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels

• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff evaluations and supply usage

Requirements

• Bilingual : Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial practices

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide the housekeeping team toward high standards

• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality service delivery

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Previous experience in hotel operations or custodial management is highly desirable
