Cost Accounting Teaching Assistant

University of Ottawa

Teach Cost Accounting in person at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus while applying strong accounting knowledge and grading skills. Support students throughout the 2027 Winter Semester in English.

This Teaching Assistant assignment supports ADM3346 at the Telfer School of Management. The work includes student contact, grading, proctoring, labs, and office hours. Clear feedback, deadline management, and familiarity with cost accounting are central to the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Give labs for the ADM3346 Cost Accounting course
Hold office hours and support student questions
Mark quizzes, assignments, and the midterm
Apply grading rubrics and provide structured feedback
Proctor examinations and complete related assigned tasks

Requirements:

Strong understanding of cost accounting
Minimum C.G.P.A. of 7.0
Minimum A- grade in ADM3346 or equivalent
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload
Experience with online delivery or Microsoft Teams considered an asset
