Kinectrics invites you to apply for a Senior Engineer role focused on Mechanical and Nuclear systems in Toronto, Ontario. Your expertise will play a vital role in advancing energy solutions and nuclear technology. As part of a team renowned for innovative energy lifecycle management, you will design systems for new nuclear technologies and support vital refurbishment projects. We seek two seasoned engineers who can contribute to a collaborative engineering environment and help meet industry demands by delivering safety and reliability in energy solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the design of mechanical systems for power plants
- Analyze reactor core designs and conduct engineering assessments
- Interface with project stakeholders for effective design solutions
- Support field engineering for plant modifications
- Provide mentorship to junior engineering members
- Over 10 years in nuclear engineering, 8 in the industry
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering
- Necessary PEO P.Eng. designation
- Skilled in flow diagrams, design specifications, and stress analysis
- Awareness of relevant nuclear codes and standards
