Role DescriptionThis full-time, remote Senior Campaign Manager (DV360 & Ad Tech) role takes ownership of planning, executing, and optimizing high-scale digital media campaigns across Display & Video 360 (DV360) and related ad tech platforms. Beyond day-to-day trafficking, pacing, and optimization, you will serve as the hands-on expert for advanced tracking frameworks (Google Tag Manager, Floodlights) and specialized location-based targeting using our proprietary
Atom geospatial platform .
You will manage end-to-end campaign workflows, analyze campaign data, troubleshoot technical setups, and provide clear reporting and actionable recommendations. Working closely with sales, account management, product, and data teams, you will ensure campaigns align with client objectives and maximize EQ Works’ proprietary data assets, while helping standardize AdOps processes and mentoring junior team members.
What You’ll Do
End-to-End Campaign Orchestration:
Lead the planning, trafficking, pacing, budget allocation, and continuous performance optimization of programmatic campaigns within Display & Video 360 (DV360).
Tagging & Tracking Architecture:
Design, implement, and QA Floodlight configurations (Counter and Sales/Transaction tags) via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Campaign Manager 360 (CM360).
Audience & Geospatial Targeting:
Execute location-driven audience strategies using our proprietary
Atom platform, translating client briefs into precise geographic, radius, and spatial audiences.
Pixel & Tag Governance:
Deploy and audit third-party conversion pixels, server-side tracking, and custom event variables to maintain clean data collection.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose tracking discrepancies, pixel drop-offs, and tag-firing errors using browser developer tools and tag auditors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner directly with Sales, Account Management, Analytics, and Data teams to advise on technical feasibility, support client growth, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Reporting & Performance Insights:
Analyze campaign performance metrics, generate meaningful insights, and communicate clear recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
Process Leadership & Mentorship:
Guide junior campaign managers on tagging standards, QA protocols, and operational best practices across DV360 and Atom.
Qualifications
Location & Eligibility:
Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
5+ years
of hands-on experience in programmatic campaign trafficking and ad operations within an agency or fast-paced brand environment.
Mastery of DV360:
In-depth experience managing line items, bid algorithms, audience segment targeting, PMP/PG deals, brand safety, and partner-level governance.
Hands-on GTM & Tagging Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in
Google Tag Manager (GTM), Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), and Floodlight tag implementation.
Technical Fundamentals:
Comfort inspecting basic HTML, JavaScript, data layers, and network console requests to troubleshoot tracking issues.
Multi-Project Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously with rigorous attention to detail and zero tolerance for unverified pixels or tracking gaps.
Strong Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ad tech and data concepts clearly to sales teams, non-technical stakeholders, and clients.
Remote Independence:
High degree of self-motivation, organization, and time management in a fully remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Official Google Marketing Platform certifications (DV360, CM360).
Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) setups or GA4 integrations.
Background in data-driven or location-based marketing, or working with proprietary data and analytics solutions.
