Job Responsibility:
Office Estimating Assistant
Compact Constructors Ltd, a fencing and construction company, has an immediate opening for a part-time estimating and coordinating assistant. Reporting to Estimating Manager, duties will include.
- Reviewing tenders for contractual information
- Reading drawings and competing take offs
- Sending requests to suppliers for pricing and orders
- Submitting quotes and tenders to clients
The successful candidate must be
- Attentive to detail.
- Have good written and verbal communication
- Be highly organized
- Have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage interruptions
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe programs
- Have ability to read construction drawings. High level is fine.
- Eagar to learn.
Experience is an asset but, not mandatory for the right person. Compensation based on experience.
Work days will be part-time with the potential to move to full time for the right fit. Work days are Tuesday-Thursday 8am to 4pm in our office in Tottenham, near by to Hwy 400 and 5th line.
