Are you passionate about connecting nature, people, and community? Reporting to the Manager of Parks Technical Services, the Urban Parks Naturalist leads naturalization, urban forestry, and wildlife initiatives that enhance Reginas parks and open spaces. This role works closely with internal teams, Indigenous partners, and community stakeholders to advance environmental sustainability, support biodiversity, and deliver engaging ecological programs that contribute to a resilient and thriving city.
What You Bring - Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field- 3 to 7 years of experience in environmental planning, sustainability, parks programs, or related areas
- Knowledge of prairie ecosystems, native plant species, urban forestry, and environmental stewardship practices
