Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Design and deliver full stack applications with Java, TypeScript, React, APIs, and Azure in a hybrid Waterloo, Ontario role.As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will own features from design through production support across the software development lifecycle. Your work spans interfaces, databases, server-side logic, automated testing, microservices, and cloud platforms. You will contribute to architecture and technical decisions.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain business applicationsDesign interfaces, databases, APIs, and server-side logicBuild automated test harnesses and analyze solution qualityResolve defects and improve efficiency, reliability, and maintainabilityComplete deployment, maintenance, support, and business documentationRequirements:
Five to ten years as a Full Stack Software EngineerOwnership of features through production supportExperience with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.Js, Python, C#, .NET, and SQLExperience with React, REST APIs, microservices, and Microsoft AzureKnowledge of Agile, DevOps, testing, continuous integration, and secure codingBring full stack engineering, architecture, testing, and Azure experience to Manulife’s hybrid Waterloo development team.
