Staff Engineer - Autonomous AI Systems at Cognichip

Join Cognichip as a Staff Engineer focusing on autonomous agentic AI systems. Drive the design and production of advanced, reliable AI workflows that push boundaries. Cognichip is searching for a Staff Agentic AI Engineer to lead architectural development and production deployment of agentic AI solutions. You'll mentor fellow engineers, define architectural standards, and deliver production-grade systems that operate effectively over time. This is a highly impactful senior contributor role. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect agentic AI workflows and reasoning pipelines
- Enhance system robustness through best practices
- Implement autonomous agents with advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation
- Ensure high-level production quality and reliability
- Create evaluation frameworks for robust testing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- 8–12 years in software engineering
- 3+ years developing agentic AI systems
- Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangGraph
- Strong skills in Python and AWS cloud technologies
