SAP ABAP Development Team Lead

I am currently partnering with a well-established organization in the retail industry seeking a Senior SAP MM / SD Functional Analyst to support business process optimization and contribute to major SAP initiatives across procurement, replenishment, and supply chain operations.
Mission As a Senior SAP MM / SD Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in improving procurement and inventory replenishment processes while supporting SAP enhancement and transformation projects. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that SAP solutions meet operational needs efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements;
Evaluate existing processes and recommend value-added solutions;
Analyze and document current SAP functionalities and programs;
Configure and optimize the SAP MM module;
Support integration activities involving SAP SD, WM, FICO and PI modules;
Prepare functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP developers;
Participate throughout the complete project lifecycle, including:

Business analysis
Configuration
Testing
Deployment
Post-production support

Execute and document unit testing and user acceptance testing;
Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer activities;
Contribute to deployment strategies and implementation planning;
Provide advanced functional support following go-live activities.
Your profile Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field;
Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP Functional Analyst in implementation or support environments;
Strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management);
Good knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution);
Solid understanding of SAP cross-functional integrations;
Knowledge of SAP WM, FICO and PI is considered an asset;
Experience within procurement, inventory management or supply chain operations is an asset;
Ability and willingness to review and understand ABAP code;
ABAP development knowledge is a strong asset;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities;
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Self-motivated, organized and solution-oriented;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
