Customer Service Advisor

$17.75 per hour

We offer:

  • Minimum of five (5) shifts per week (Monday through to Friday) scheduled between 8:00AM to 8:00PM, as business requires, traditional shift between 8-4, or 9-5 or 10-6pm & Saturdays 9-3pm as business requires.
  • Offering guaranteed base of $17.75 per hour
  • Ability to make an extra $0.50 after each year up to 5 years until $2.50 is reached on top of your base.
  • $300 annual benefit health spending reimbursement plan for you and your family after 90 days of employment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3- 6 months customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Genuine eagerness to help customers with care, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Exceptionally polite, friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Excellent listening skills to address customer concerns while maintaining composure
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude within a diverse team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and via typing with high attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy mindset, comfortable learning and using various digital tools
  • Ability to communicate through Webchat, Email, Social Media, and other online channels (training provided)
  • Contact customers with past-due accounts via phone and email to provide reminders and assistance
  • Listen to customer concerns and identify why a payment was missed to find a solution
  • Establish realistic payment plans and process settlements in accordance with company policy
  • Accurately document all interactions and update customer contact information in the CRM
  • Provide high-quality service that aligns with company commitment to customer care
  • Proven data entry and typing skills with a minimum of 40 WPM

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto,in a bright,beautiful professional building, brick walls and 13' ceilings - two minutes from Union Station, subway station and Go Transit.

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday between 8 am – 8:00 pm

Saturdays 9-3pm.

Description:

Can you offer superior customer service in a fast-paced work environment? You will be providing a wide range of inbound/outbound customer service. Key responsibilities including, bill explanation, account maintenance and collections.

If you are an energetic, self-motivated and a customer service oriented individual looking to learn and develop in a lasting career in customer service, we have immediate Full-Time opportunities for people interested in servicing products to existing customers for some of Canada's largest Utility providers.

The successful candidate will posses the unique combination of rapport-building, presentation skills and experience required to quickly gather data, identify specific needs of potential customers and inform them and/or perform the necessary steps to ensure good account standings.
