Elderly care for my 2 parents
Full-time, Part-time
Assistance with bathing
- Dressing and grooming, including hair care and skin moisturizing
- Perineal and incontinence care, including brief changes and hygiene support
- Shaving with an electric razor
- Oral hygiene care, including tooth brushing, denture care, and cueing
- Toileting support, including use of commodes, urinals, and bedpans
- Use of assistive devices (e.g., walkers, canes, braces)
- Assisting with range of motion (ROM) or exercise programs
- Use of mechanical lifts
- Meal setup and feeding assistance
- Dishwashing and cleaning of food preparation areas used during care
- Following food consistency guidelines as prescribed by a health professional
- Bed-making and linen changes
- Dishwashing and kitchen surface cleaning used during care
- Bathroom cleaning used during care tasks
- Garbage and recycling removal from personal care areas
- Spot cleaning for hygiene or safety reasons
- Wiping or disinfecting mobility aids
- Light tidying of personal spaces
- Social engagement such as reading, crafts, light conversation, or short walks
- Support for participation in household routine
