Own Mimica’s AI infrastructure and platform direction with Kubernetes, MLOps, and cloud expertise. Lead the systems enabling engineering teams to deliver reliably.Mimica seeks a Head of Platform to guide infrastructure strategy as demand grows across the company. You will own training and serving infrastructure, MLOps tooling, Vertex, model access, and the broader developer platform. You will lead a lean team, shape future sub-teams, and partner with the Platform PM on roadmap priorities. The role also covers FinOps, reliability, observability, and technical due diligence.Key Responsibilities:
Own training, serving, MLOps, Vertex, and model access infrastructureLead and grow Platform, SRE, and future infrastructure sub-teamsSet cloud, deployment, reliability, and developer platform standardsForecast infrastructure and LLM costs with product attributionReport platform health and costs to company leadershipRequirements:
Proven leadership across engineers and growing technical teamsHands-on Kubernetes experience in managed or on-premises environmentsTerraform and ArgoCD or comparable GitOps experienceExperience owning infrastructure budgets and cloud relationshipsObservability experience with Honeycomb, Datadog, Grafana, or New RelicLead Mimica’s AI platform infrastructure with credible engineering leadership, Kubernetes expertise, and disciplined reliability and cost ownership.
