We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Commercial Office Security guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons
- Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel, including police, fire and paramedic resources
- Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers
- Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability, and day to day reports
- Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
- Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
Qualifications
- Valid BC Security License
- Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk 18/20km, and walk up/down the stairs
- Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Certification Requirements (All)
Valid BC Security Licence
