LPN required for seniors' living facility.Green Acres Foundation is seeking a team-oriented multi-tasker who is flexible, enthusiastic, has great leadership skills, and a positive attitude to help as a Licensed Practical Nurse at our facility in Coaldale, Alberta.Does this sound like you? We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.About the position:This is a Temporary Full-Time position to cover a medical leave.The estimated end date for this position is March 31, 2027.The position offers an average of 37.5 hours per week Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.Shifts to cover in this position are: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and/or 10pm to 6am.Basic responsibilities of the position include:Overseeing and providing direction to HCAs following a Care PlanProviding direct care and support to residentsMonitor, assess, and report changes in resident's healthRespond to emergency calls as requiredDistribute medications to residentsAssisting residents with daily activities, including therapeutic regimesComplete all necessary charting, paperwork, and reporting in a clear, concise, and timely manner using electronic chartingRequirements for the position:Licensed Practical Nursing DiplomaAnnual proof of active registration on the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken EnglishA flexible, willing, and positive attitudeFirst Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.Green Acres Foundation has been voted Best of the Best in Seniors Housing every year since 2019!Green Acres Foundation recognizes the diversity within the communities in which we serve and strive to ensure that our housing program and services, our facilities, and our employment opportunities are inclusive to all people.This personal information is being collected by Green Acres Foundation.
