Summary of Position:

In charge of assisting the MDI and Production teams in Coaldale, ensuring the seamless integration and management of data flow from sources such as Manual Logger, Factory Talk, PCNR, etc., to the OSI Pi platform. Leveraging manufacturing insight and creativity to convert this data into meaningful and actionable visual analytics that the production team can rely on for making critical day-to-day decisions. Moreover, providing support to Line Centric leadership and the MDI team in accessing process data and implementing new changes to the process.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Oversee OSI PI SMT, PI AF, PI Manual Logger, PI Vision and SPC Proficient.
• Keep PI Excel, such as RTM Reports, up to date and develop new reports as requested.
• Compile a summary of process data for specific SKUs or designated periods for analysis.
• Assist the production team in conducting Root Cause Analysis studies.
• Create/improvise PI Vision screens as needed by the plant team.
• Validate and verify RtDuet downtime data entries from the control room.
• Develop Operational Procedures (OPLs) for learning and troubleshooting tools.
• Actively engage in clean-up activities to support the production team.
• Proactively support all teams in adapting to process changes and learning new tools and technologies.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

• Thorough understanding of the entire process from receiving to shipping.
• Effective communication skills across various organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with statistical tools.
• Building positive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues.
• Basic programming skills would be beneficial.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
• Advanced knowledge of process equipment, including designs and applications, would be advantageous.

Bachelor's degree would be preferable.
