About the role
In the Media Buyer position, you will own the day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance of paid media campaigns, helping to drive customer acquisition and engagement through highly effective Google Ads and paid search programs. This is a role where you will partner with client managers from one of our major technology clients. What you’ll do:
- Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, with a primary focus on paid search and additional support across YouTube and other Google campaign types.
- Partner with client managers and internal teams to execute paid media programs, provide campaign insights, and support optimization recommendations that drive business growth.
- Learn, follow and demonstrate a strong understanding of internal policies and procedures.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize campaigns for optimal performance across Google Ads
- Coordinate seamlessly with other channels to ensure integrated online advertising success.
- Lead customer experience testing and optimizations throughout the customer journey (ad creative, ad placement, landing page experience, conversion forms, post-conversion relationship, A/B and multivariate testing, etc)
- Partner with Product Marketing Managers to support campaign execution, performance reporting, and ongoing optimization efforts.
What We Need :
- 5-7+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience with a proven track record of building, managing, and optimizing high-performing paid search campaigns.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads campaign management, optimization, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make optimization decisions with minimal day-to-day direction.
- Think strategically about complex issues, formulating recommendations that drive results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable discussing campaign performance and recommendations with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team and partner successfully with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Be proactive, disciplined, organized, and highly motivated to excel.
Plus Factors:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong academic record and demonstrably successful analytical skills.
- Familiarity with ad servers, campaign optimization tools, and online tracking technologies is a plus.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
