Join a well-established firm in downtown Vancouver! As Controller, you’ll be key in driving financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. This role includes leading budgeting, cash flow management, and overseeing accounting operations. If you're experienced in internal controls, process improvement, and leading finance teams, this is for you!

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly and year-end financial reporting packages, including key business performance indicators.
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities to help drive business planning.
- Oversee treasury activities and cash position management to maintain healthy working capital.
- Maintain strong financial governance practices and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting standards.

- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, improve efficiencies, and leverage technology across finance functions.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Partner with leadership on financial systems optimization, upgrades, and process integration initiatives.
- Coordinate corporate tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and support the accounting team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and provide financial leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Experience working in professional services industry
- SAP experience (nice to have)
- Experience leading a team
