Toromont Cat is looking for a Yard Person to join our team in Dartmouth! Our Yard Person provides superior service to support internal and external customers by maintaining the daily operation of yard inventory including the shipping and receiving of equipment.

$49,845.00 to $62,305.00
The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

In a typical day, YOU will
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Assist Equipment Coordinators with daily Branch inventory control for all equipment and attachments
- Coordinate heavy equipment shipping, receiving and repairs and updates with the service department
- Ensure new and used machines leave the yard in good and safe working condition
- Provide digital pictures and all documentation of equipment entering and leaving the yard
- Organize, track and file all documents in a timely manner
- Ensure yard security is maintained
- Assist with other tasks as required including minor repairs to building, snow removal and steam cleaning of equipment
Must-haves for this role
- Minimum post-secondary education
- Relevant work experience operating various types of Heavy Equipment
