Merck seeks an Account Manager for its companion animal business in Toronto and surrounding areas. The role involves managing veterinary clinic customer relationships, developing territory sales plans, and driving market penetration through direct engagement and product education.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales and business objectives by coordinating territory tactical plans
Conduct regular veterinary clinic visits to understand customer needs and promote product solutions
Deliver continuing education and product presentations to veterinary clinic teams
Manage territory data through CRM and other territory management tools
Attend training, conferences, and industry conventions; complete administrative duties

Requirements

Bachelor's degree completed
Valid driver's license required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
Strong oral and written communication skills
Previous sales experience preferred
Small animal veterinary practice experience preferred
Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities

Compensation: $66,880 - $100,320 CAD base
