Elevate your underwriting expertise with Navacord as a Senior Underwriter focused on Property & Casualty coverage in a hybrid work environment. Utilize your extensive experience to mentor, analyze risk, and ensure compliance. As a Senior Underwriter at Navacord, you will lead underwriting processes with at least 10 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance. Your role involves evaluating new and renewal business for profitability while nurturing relationships with brokers and clients. Additionally, you will mentor Junior Underwriters to enhance their capabilities in underwriting. Key Responsibilities:
- Price and underwrite complex insurance risks
- Review applications to provide customized solutions
- Manage existing policies while ensuring profitability
- Build relationships with brokers and clients
- Support and mentor Junior Underwriters
- At least 10 years of insurance experience
- Broker Level 2 license as required
- CIP designation or progress in achieving it
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
