Scope of the position
The Electrical Buyer is responsible for reviewing purchase requisitions and fulfilling the requirements of orders as well as maintaining inventory levels and reordering stock as needed. The Electrical Buyer will be required to research and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices. They will also be responsible for staying informed of the current market conditions/ product.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years Buying experience or 2 years experience plus a knowledge of the electrical product range
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Purchasing Certificate (Preferred)
- Wire or Utility buyer experience would be an asset
