Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle union and non-union payroll processing.
- Lead and support the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll.
- Oversee timesheet audits payroll adjustments benefits vacation payouts deductions and remittances.
- Manage payroll reporting reconciliations and year-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Resolve complex employee and government payroll inquiries.
- Partner with HR and management on payroll-related matters.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Accounting Business Payroll or a related field; CPA is an asset.
- 810 years of full-cycle payroll experience including 5 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Strong experience with unionized and high-volume payroll.
- Knowledge of Canadian and interprovincial payroll.
- ADP Workforce Now experience required; Jonas experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
