Branch Clerk

Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a flexible, organized and detailed oriented Branch Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct communication with external and internal customers; responds to inquiries and/or directs to the appropriate department; and enters and maintains accurate shipment information into the Transportation Management System.

Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

· High School diploma; courses in Business Administration or a related field, with one (1) years' experience in an office environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

· Freight Industry experience preferred.

· Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.

· Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia.

· Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

· Advanced level typing speed and accuracy.

· Ability to work effectively as part of a team; collaborating with others to achieve goals and objectives.

· Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills

· Positive attitude that communicates job related issues with a constructive, problem solving approach.

· Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, in order to be effective in requesting and delivering information.

· Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.

· Ability to work independently, problem solve and be attentive to details.

· Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

· Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
