Job Title: Logistics and Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Burlington, ON.

Shift: Days, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Rate of Pay: $24.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hire

We are hiring a Logistics & Dispatch Supervisor for a wholesale electrical distribution warehouse in Burlington! The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate staff, and ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be available to interview in Burlington ASAP.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, including routing, scheduling, and delivery tracking.
• Manage driver schedules to ensure efficient, on-time service and resolve operational issues.
• Partner with HR on attendance, training, and employee relations; review and approve ADP timecards.
• Monitor transportation costs, fleet maintenance, and compliance with MTO regulations.
• Review driver abstracts and assist with cross-border documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve delivery inquiries and maintain service levels.
• Track and report delivery performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Maintain a safe, organized workplace and ensure compliance with ISO standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in logistics, scheduling, dispatch, or transportation is required.
• Supervisory or team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office 365).
• Candidates must be willing to provide a Criminal Record Check
