Job Responsibility:
EFCON is a leading food manufacturing company specializing in purees, syrups, and other food products. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cook to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking syrups according to specific recipes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow precise recipes to prepare syrups and other food products.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure the best possible product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area.
- Ensure all utensils and equipment are used properly and sanitized as per health and safety standards.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols in a kitchen setting.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Foodsafe certification is an asset.
