Home Care Support Worker(Female)
Full-time
We are seeking a home care suport worker to help a senior woman with their morning routine. We're looking for 2 caregivers to split the week, and shift times are ideally 9 am to 12 pm daily. Night‑shift hours are flexible, and the schedule can be arranged to suit the worker’s availability. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- assistance with morning routine focussing on breakfast and medication reminders
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to family member
- Foster a safe, clean, and supportive home environment that promotes independence and enhances quality of life
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- No previous experience necessary - skills training will be provided
- Sense of humor
- Comfortable working with a senior woman
- Attentive and quick learner
- Non Smoker
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current resume and references.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
