Organic Social Media Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Organic Social Media Manager based in Canada. This role owns the day-to-day organic social presence across a portfolio of major social platforms. You will translate broader channel strategy and performance insights into a clear, engaging, and consistent content plan. The position combines editorial judgment, creative direction, publishing discipline, audience understanding, and performance analysis. You will brief creative teams, shape short-form content, write hooks and captions, and adapt existing assets for organic audiences. You will also manage distinct brand persona accounts while maintaining differentiated voices and consistent publishing cadences. The role works closely with creative, growth, content, community, paid, PR, copy, and patient services teams in a fully remote environment. It is an opportunity to directly influence brand reach, audience engagement, and how an important health conversation is represented online. Accountabilities - Own the organic social posting strategy across primary and secondary channels, including cadence, frequency, timing, sequencing, formats, and platform-specific publishing practices. - Build and maintain a rolling content calendar, determine the appropriate content mix, and manage publishing across relevant social platforms. - Maintain accurate and current live content, identifying and correcting posts when product information, pricing, or claims change. - Plan, create, and publish content for distinct brand persona accounts, maintaining differentiated voices, audiences, content themes, and publishing cadences. - Develop content concepts and create detailed production briefs and ClickUp tickets covering the concept, hook, script or talking points, format specifications, references, quality guidelines, and intended outcome.

- Provide clear creative direction while giving designers and creators sufficient flexibility to maintain an authentic voice. - Identify relevant assets from paid media, ambassador programs, and other channels and adapt them for organic social use. - Evaluate incoming creative assets for organic suitability, refine hooks and captions, and ensure reused content feels native rather than like repurposed advertising. - Own caption strategy and draft initial hooks and captions, using AI tools to generate and refine options before editorial review. - Proactively engage with creators, practitioners, advocates, adjacent brands, and relevant audience conversations to build reach, relationships, and brand recognition. - Route inbound comments and direct messages to the appropriate internal teams and immediately escalate reputationally sensitive matters. - Produce regular performance reporting against established KPIs, explaining results, identifying contributing factors, and recommending future tests. - Monitor performance continuously and escalate significant or unexpected results rather than waiting for scheduled reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate content launches, campaigns, creator assets, community activity, and amplification opportunities. Requirements - 3–5 years of experience managing organic social media for a brand or agency, supported by a portfolio or body of work that demonstrates both execution and strategic reasoning. - Demonstrated ability to create high-quality creative briefs that enable production teams to execute content accurately with minimal follow-up. - Strong editorial judgment, particularly for short-form video, with the ability to direct creators and creative teams without necessarily producing or editing the content yourself. - Excellent copywriting skills, particularly in developing hooks, captions, and authentic conversational engagement.
