On-Site Service Coordinator (contract)

As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Service  Coordinator-Supply Chain (ON-SITE) to the Scandi Family! 

This is a contract position ending September 30, 2027.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch (30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid) 

Located in our head office- this role is an IN-OFFICE position.

Summary of role

The Service Coordinator oversees the scheduling and coordination of maintenance and repair services for floor cleaning equipment. This position ensures that customer service requests are managed promptly, parts and labor are properly assigned, and service records are accurately maintained. The Service Coordinator collaborates closely with technicians and customers to ensure reliable, high-quality service and minimal equipment downtime.

What your day to day will look like:

You will be reporting into the Vice President of Procurement. 

• Maintain accurate and detailed reports on all repairs and inspections.
• Understand warranty claims and work with our vendors to maintain warranty repairs and how to follow up with equipment vendors to have warranty claims completed properly.
• Assist our asset manager with the tracking of company assets and plan repairs if required.
• Respond to inquiries from our managers in the field and provide up to date information regarding the status of repair requests, etc.
• Complete monthly reports and complete other documentation as needed.
• Operate company forklift.
• Other duties as needed.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Considerable knowledge of equipment servicing
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external vendors and customers.
• Be the point of contact for owner operator and internal managers looking to have equipment repaired in a timely manner.
• Maintain the schedule of our internal repair technicians.
• Ability to make decisions; evaluate situations quickly and offer solutions.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with an elevated level of accuracy and strong diligence.

Our interview process:

• 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter 
• 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
• There will be 2 rounds of interview for the role 
  • Round 1 Interview: Hiring Manager (VP of Procurement) and Supply Chain Manager
  • Round 2 interview: Hiring Manager (VP of Procurement) and CFO
