About us
Bailey Designs is an interdisciplinary team of architectural technologists and designers located in Barrie, Ontario, specializing in custom home design, interior design and legal second suite design. For over 20 years, our team has applied a combination of extensive knowledge on design and construction to create dream homes and interiors for our clients.
Our full-service architectural design firm focuses on new custom residential, renovations, additions, commercial interior design, and hospitality interior design.
Duties:- Provide administrative support to the team- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members- Schedule appointments and manage calendars- Maintain and organize files and documents- Assist with billing and invoicing tasks- Interacting with clients, contractors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy- Assist with building permits- Assist with data entry and record keeping- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing
Skills:- Previous experience in a design studio or permitting office is preferred- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar), strong computer skills are essential- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Strong problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
While not mandatory, experience in the construction industry is a valuable asset.
Please note that this is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
