Front Desk Manager

Home2 Suites by Hilton Quebec is looking for its next Front Desk Manager. We are searching for someone passionate about the hospitality industry who wants to supervise, develop, and motivate a professional team focused on providing distinctive service and experiences to our guests. You will work closely with the hotel's assistant manager to create a work environment that values autonomy and customer experience.

YOUR ROLE

• Motivate and develop the front desk team through training, coaching, sales targets, contests, etc.;

• Participate in hiring and onboarding to build professional teams; 

• Ensure smooth operation of the front desk and activities and logistics with other departments;

• Ensure that the tasks and responsibilities of the receptionists are completed;

• Assist the front desk during call and guest surges;

• Perform front desk duties as needed or as a backup;

• Assist the coordinator in welcoming groups;

• Manage online reviews and customer complaints;

• Implement and follow up on front desk procedures and policies;

• Develop actions for customer loyalty;

• Participate in managing schedules. 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS 

• Vocational diploma in hotel reception or college diploma in hotel management;

• 3 years of experience in a similar position in hospitality; 

• Any other combination of relevant education and experience; 

• Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;

• Knowledge of regional tourist attractions - an asset; 

• Familiarity with hotel software - an asset.
