Senior Artwork Controller for Packaging (Newmarket)

Lead the end-to-end artwork process as a Senior Artwork Controller in the consumer health sector. Manage high-quality labeling projects with cross-functional teams and external vendors for timely releases. This role requires a blend of experience and leadership, overseeing artwork development from initiation to completion.
You will coordinate efforts across PMO, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments while driving process improvements. The role demands both hands‑on execution and development of team capabilities in a fast‑paced setting with multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee artwork development from brief through final release
- Act as liaison between internal teams and external agencies
- Validate briefs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Manage timelines, resources, and project tracking
- Implement process improvements for artwork workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 10+ years in labeling design or project management
- Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements
- Hands‑on experience with PLM and artwork systems
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
