Senior Estimator Role at Pomerleau Construction

Join Pomerleau Construction as a Senior Estimator within the Building Operations team, where your 8+ years of ICI estimating experience will make a significant impact. Lead high-value projects, effectively evaluate costs, and ensure successful bidding processes. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately evaluating labor and material costs for major construction projects, ranging from $1.5 million to $1 billion. You will prepare detailed quantity summaries and build strong relationships with clients and trade partners to achieve project objectives. Your role will be pivotal in leading project bids and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative evaluations for labor and materials
- Prepare detailed summaries of project quantities
- Identify and validate project-specific pricing
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
- Review supplier and subcontractor amounts for accuracy
- University degree or diploma in project estimation
- 8+ years in ICI construction estimating
- Solid knowledge of excavation and formwork
- Proven mentoring experience for junior staff
- Familiarity with estimation software
