You will engage with physicians and health professionals, promoting a team-oriented environment focused on residents' well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement policies and procedures alongside the Registered Nurse
- Liaise with healthcare partners and external professionals
- Notify the physician of significant changes in resident status
- Direct Personal Support Workers on care strategies
- Participate in shift reports with healthcare team members
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
- Knowledge of relevant health regulation acts
- Experience in nursing personnel administration
- Strong understanding of community health needs
